If integration really mattered I should be able to take any game from any platform and stick it into any other gaming device. The platform makers would then have to actually focus on what matters — making the best gaming platform!
That way game/software developers could focus on what they should be focused on — creating the best games available!
FreekStyle for the Playstation 2 is so far my favorite freestyle Dirt Bike game! I should be able to stick it into my PC when my kids are already playing a different game on the PS2 and compete with others over my LAN or the internet!
Why is this so hard to achieve? Why do specific games have to be exclusive to specific platforms? Even though the whole world can see and realize that standardization and integration brings about revolutionary change! Just look at the PC industry!
